THL Cranes
Tasmanian Heavy Lifts (THL Cranes) is a family concern that has been in operation for the past 9 years in Australia. Joint owners Peter and Michelle Jenkins are directly involved in the day to day running of the business. Peter has over 20 years experience in the crane industry, working on many sites within the mining and construction sectors.
Currently we are running approximately 30 machines covering a wide range from 4.9 ton through to 400 ton crawlers and Hydraulic rough and All Terrain cranes ranging from 7 ton through to 100 ton. These machines are operating around Australia. To support our equipment we run our own mobile maintenance workshops staffed by qualified mechanics who are all fully qualified machine operators.
Tasmanian Heavy Lifts also has a fleet of 10 Cranes located in Ghana, Africa. These cranes have just completed a Turn Key Project for Chirano Gold and are currently working for Newmont on the Arhafo Gold Mine Project. We have an extensive Workshop in Africa with a full Machine Shop, Hydraulic Hose Doctor and an extensive Parts Store with a full time Mechanic.
